Resident population: 42,000
Tourism capacity: 21,000
A privately owned and operated village founded by 150 families in partnership with indigenous tribes operating on a sound money standard with bitcoin accepted everywhere
Residents pay an annual contribution rate in btc to pay for security, energy, waste disposal, health services, emergency hospital services, fire & rescue, city maintenance
Zero taxes beyond the contribution rate (no property tax, no sales tax)
Tourists pay a daily contribution rate upon entering the village which gives them access to all basic services
The annual contribution rate is transparently determined every year on December 21 by a council elected by the people based on the costs of running the village
An annual resident survey is done to gather feedback from residents about quality of services and improvement recommendations
Each year the rate decreases as the purchasing power of bitcoin increases due to improved efficiency and productivity
The village is run as a profitable operation and saves its excess in a bitcoin treasury
3 Sisters credit
An annual btc dividend is paid to all founding families based on a percentage of profits
The primary industry is health tourism
The village is powered by two underground energy production hubs containing small modular nuclear reactors
Each hub contains a fleet of bitcoin miners which generate revenue for the village and provide heat for all village owned buildings
A central church and peripheral community hubs offer worship and health services for residents and tourists
Private airstrip and helipad with village owned air transportation services offered weekly from Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver
