Planning next year's daily photo. There are two options. One is the front border of our garden. It will get more colourful, and has large pink hydrangeas in summer. The other is a view of the sky with some trees to indicate the season. I'm going to run a poll in the reply, to see if anyone has a preference.
Mae'r awyr yn glir heddiw, ac mae haul wedi newydd godi. #CastanwyddenEccles The sky is clear today, and the sun has just risen. #EcclesChestnut image
#BoreDa bawb. Dydd olaf cyn mynd i ymweld fy Mam am Nadolig. Dwi wedi pobi, a lapio anrhegion. Wna i restrau heddiw, pethau i gofio. #GoodMorning everyone. Last day before going to visit my Mum for Christmas. I've baked, and wrapped presents. I will make lists today, things to remember. #DysguCymraeg #Dyddiadur
#BoreDa bawb. Dim byd yn y dyddiadur heddiw. Gobeithio, ydd dydd ymlacio. Efallai, wna i bobi. #GoodMorning everyone. Nothing in the diary today. Hopefully, a relaxing day. Maybe, I'll bake. #DysguCymraeg #Dyddiadur
#BoreDa bawb. Dyn ni'n mynd i'r gweithdy cymunedol heddiw - y tro olaf cyn Nadolig. Dim ond sgwrsio a phanadau, dwi'n meddwl. Wedyn, fy sgwrs Cymraeg olaf cyn Nadolig yn y prynhawn. #GoodMorning everyone. We are going to the community workshop today - the last time before Christmas. Just chatting and cuppas, I think. Then, my last Welsh conversation before Christmas in the afternoon. #DysguCymraeg #Dyddiadur
#BoreDa bawb. Dydd Sul. Dim gwaith, dim marchnad. Rhaid i mi orffen gwnรฏo anrheg fy Mam, wedyn, efallai, wna i gwiltio. #GoodMorning everyone. Sunday. No work, no market. I must finish sewing my Mother's present, then, perhaps, I will quilt. #DysguCymraeg #Dyddiadur
UK Masto folks: On BBC Radio2, they are going on about Tunis Cake as a nostalgic thing. I have never heard of it, and looking it up, I don't ever recall seeing one. Has anyone any memory of it?
Mae popeth yn yr ardd yn anghywir. Mae'r blagur ar y hydrangea yn tyfu yn barod, ac mae'r rhiwbob yn egino eto - rhy fuan! Everything in the garden is wrong. The buds on the hydrangea are already growing, and the rhubarb is sprouting again - too soon!
#BoreDa bawb. Byddwn ni'n rhedeg marchnad fach yn y gweithdy cymunedol y bore 'ma i drio gwerthu pethau pren y gwnaeth y grลตp. Fydd unrhywun yn dod? Dim syniad! #GoodMorning everyone. We will be running a small market in the community workshop this morning to try and sell the wooden things the group made. Will anyone come? No idea! #DysguCymraeg #Dyddiadur
Walking to work this morning, Manchester, UK, facing west, about an hour before sunrise, I saw two white lights like bright stars in the sky that looked unfamiliar. About an inch apart, about 20-25 degrees above the horizon. Steady, not twinkling or blinking, not moving in relation to each other, or noticeably across the sky. As I walked and watched them, in the space of 4 or 5 strides, they dimmed and disappeared. What did I see? I'm assuming satellites entering the earth's shadow?
