anyone remember Construx? Would’ve been 80’s/90’s era construction toy.
I played with this stuff for hours.
Was reminded of it today because i saw a purple cyber truck and thought to myself - that looks like construx.
construx was cooler though.
The future we were promised: “Honey, pack your bags, I booked us a weekend getaway to the moon resort, our ship leaves the spaceport in 3 hours.”
The future we got: “my fridge has an updated privacy policy”
“Another, and make it a double!” He said, sliding his glass toward the barman.
“Don’t you think you’ve had enough?”
The question obviously riled the disheveled patron, who locked eyes with the barman.
“My executive team asked me today how we can leverage AI as part of our quantum strategy,” he began. “We don’t even have an asset register.”
“My god. This one’s a triple, and it’s on the house.”
here is my personal thanksgiving Turkey preparation technique - and it begins at the store
what i do is i walk up to the turkey section, take a long look
then i carry on walking, and grab a ham instead because turkey tastes like ass

Finally got a response back from eBay about a stolen item I reported.
The report included A) a police report showing the timings of the theft and referencing the serial number of the item.
B) photos that prove/prior possession of the item.
C) a demonstration of how the item was listed with incorrect information - including electrical specs that could lead to safety problems.
The reply:
“Thanks again for reporting the listing(s) you found. We wanted to let you know that we closed your report for the below referenced listing(s). These listings have not been removed. This determination was made using automation or artificial intelligence.”
“what a week with all these political scandals eh?”
“it’s nothing new, when i was your age, obama wore a tan suit.”
“what…i mean…was the suit made from the skin of some endangered animal or something?”
“no it was just a tan suit, crazy times. he got away with it too.”
the quickest way for the general public to get access to the epstein files would be to tell AI companies they are copyrighted material, they’d find a way to scrape that shit up so fast
