Of all the ways this might turn out, the most shocking would be a clear Harris win that gets called tonight, with Trump conceding graciously and encouraging his supporters to share in his congratulations and wish Harris well for the sake of the nation as a whole. The perversity of Trump’s narcissistic depravity is such that no one — not his supporters, not the objective media, and certainly not his detractors — has any expectation that he’s even capable of conceding a loss, no matter how clear.
