It doesn't look like much in this photo, but they stopped counting the protestors at 3,000 people (out of a population of 30,173 people in 2023). This was in the very small town of #Algonquin #Illinois , about 48 miles northwest of #Chicago . Some of these people are probably also from neighboring #LakeInTheHills , which has a population of 28,661. Both communities tend to have considerably more Republican voters than Democrats.
