I was on a woodland path when this little cutie appeared from nowhere. They came to me then ran on past. I carried on to see if any other sheep beyond, but no. I’d seen a lad on a quad tending to some sheep a couple of fields back so retraced my steps. No sign of the lamb, they had vanished. Called at what I thought was the farm but the owner lets the land. She said the farmer has been looking for the lamb since Xmas Eve. They appear in her garden but again vanish. Living their best life maybe?

The sun is shining in a clear blue sky. Very soothing for the soul. I had a short Boxing Day bimble through a neighbour’s woodland and down to the river. I must escape here more often.
