Anyone making supercharged compost? I read about it yesterday so today combined my two compost piles with biochar to see what might happen. I had one pile of normal composting garden and vegie waste and the other was just animal bedding and manure. I'm excited to see what the outcome is and how quickly it might break down with all that mix of microbial life. Anyway long way to ask the question... The best thing about having a problem bird in the flock is that they need to be removed. This one is going to be shredded duck and broth after a 12 hour dry brine and roasting. Cleaning up poultry is still a new skill for me so if anyone has any tips please let me know. #homesteading #foodstr
