Why is the title of Β«Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer!Β» S01E10 is Β«Lloyd FightsΒ» when he never did anything? πŸ€ͺ #Anime

Generally true. Of course there are cases where fans ask for photos, but it's not common. A simple greeting is what you'll get IF they recognized you. Usually no one cares, especially if you're a foreigner. #Philippines
It is true that we were often told to sound like an American or an Australian or a British. Anything but to sound #Filipino. I hate it and never obeyed. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Β«Philippine EnglishΒ» or `en-PH` in ISO. #Philippines
I thought #StarfleetAcademy is going to premiere in 2025 after Strange New Worlds S03 finale. It's in 2026. 😭
The golden rule in moderation is, **Context is king** or to put it more bluntly, **ethnocentrism vs cultural relativism**. - Ethnocentrism is utterly wrong. That's you thinking your culture is the universal truth and thus you force down your own cultural sensitivities on others. - Cultural relativism is the correct approach. When it comes to how we use words even if it is the same language such as English, you need to take into consideration the user's own culture as that is highly likely what influenced their choice of words, logical thinking, and delivery. Yes, it is not easy to be objective especially in a heated debate or very sensitive topics. While that is not an excuse, it is understandable. Just don't forget that no culture is above another or is the universal standard. For experienced moderators, they understand this well. They have to investigate and understand the context so they can be as objective as they possibly can.

That totally surprised me. One of the characters in #Wednesday S02 is a #Filipino. It's not obvious if you don't understand our language. For Filipinos, you'll see it. For non-Filipinos, look for a text message scene in S02E06, that's the character. #TV #drama
I really hate it when CS/TS agents don't read emails and reply with canned responses. They're super lucky I'm not their manager, I'll pull them out and get them retrained immediately, or just fail them. They are a disgrace to us who pioneered this industry. You're making it look like we didn't train the people who trained you, or we were selfish with our know-how. Are CS/TS departments in the 2020s lacking metrics like FCR (First Contact Resolution) and reading comprehension? Of course, we're not talking about the automated first reply, which are often obvious. We're talking about actual agent replies. Agents who don't read and understand and just gives you a canned response. You people, not all of you obviously but many of you, if you are not going to do your job properly, find something else. There are many other people who can do better than you. And to you HR and Recruiters and Managers, seriously test the people you are hiring instead of just rushing to fill in the seats required. Quality goes a long way. And an experienced agent who truly loves what they're doing can meet quotas while keeping their quality above average. Treat them well so they won't leave you.
Governments are trying to keep up with technology but the solutions the non-techies are coming up with are for the analog era.
