A friendly reminder: There no such thing as "Mastodon Verification", "Fediverse Verification", "Open Social Verification", "Misskey Verification", and whatever "Your account was suspended pending verification. {some_uri_here}".
It is a scam and a phishing attempt. Report that specific post immediately so admins and moderators can take action.
If your instance/server requires verification, it will come from their official channels and domain name, not from another domain name or account they never announced as official. Of course, this is to assume your instance/server's admin and moderator accounts were not compromised or you didn't sign-up to a fake/phishing instance.
There are third-party services who do verification, like for journalists. However, they don't have the power to suspend accounts and it is voluntary, no scary tactic. In addition, if they are legit, they've been vetted by various well-known personalities and well-established Fediverse accounts, not by an unknown and/or suspicious accounts (do NOT rely on the age of the account, they use their early registered accounts, make it active and participatory, and then quietly start their phishing campaign).
