@Open Rights Group have started a campaign to protect low-risk small-scale sites, and have a very easy-to-use tool to help you write to your MP to express your concern about the impending implementation of Ofcom's illegal harms code of practice. It will take less than 5 minutes to do. If you are affected as a user or a site operator, you can use the template here to write to your MP. #OnlineSafetyAct
What's your favourite thing you didn't know abut polls on Mastodon?
Somewhere between 25-68% of X accounts are bots. Bluesky has seen a surge in bots, but I don't have good numbers. Just like certain financials are reported "adjusted for inflation", going forward I propose all Fediverse statistics be inflated by 50% to "adjust for botflation". Therefore, Fediverse is now at 22.5 million accounts adjusted for botflation 🎉 The media seems to love these big numbers, so let's play along. No more MAU. Only describe accounts registered, adjusted for botflation.

Apparently the Maokong Gondola is closed on Mondays, so me and these other disappointed tourists are going to find something else to do.
This frog looks exactly like how I felt sometimes participating in or being in the general vicinity of something my son was enjoying when he was little and I had maybe had just about enough of it thank you. Ieuan if you're reading this I love you and always enjoyed every single minute of every activity ever.
Me: "I have a hankering for some stationery. I don't need all the stationery, but more than some stationery, you know what I mean?" Imaginary tour guide: "I know just the place". image
