Today we launched our new website, featuring live data from the @Amboss API.
You can now see the stats for the entire Nodestrich community at a glance, and it’s really impressive — 273 nodes with 6418 channels and 792 BTC total capacity.
This is all the work of individuals around the world empowering themselves by running nodes, opening channels, and building the peer-to-peer #Nostr circular economy.

This includes a critical security fix to prevent a vulnerability to in-flight HTLCs.

As of Nodestrich’s third birthday just a few days ago, we now rank third out of all @Amboss communities!
(It also appears that Amboss has been doing some housekeeping and weeding out dead nodes.)

If this can accomplish the goal of becoming a true Telegram replacement, the Nodestrich group will adopt it. We always wanted our group to be Nostr-only, but the tools to communicate effectively as a group didn’t exist at the time.
