Mistodon: this #monochrome #teletext portrait of the late #GeneWilder as the titular character in Mel Brooks' 1974 #YoungFrankenstein was drawn by Horsenburger and included in the spooky MIST1024 artpack collection released one year ago this month.

Mistodon: this #PETSCII screen, drawn by Bema, depicts a hideous Lovecraftian creature -- the piece is called The Deep Ones -- slithering out of the ocean like an angry jar of thawed frozen chopped spinach. Mistodon: #LeonardoDaVinci used his #VitruvianMan design to model ideal human proportions, but @𝖑𝖎𝖙𝖙𝖑𝖊𝖇𝖎𝖙𝖘𝖕𝖆𝖈𝖊 found there was still one small area for improvement, and stripped the obfuscating flesh from those big, beautiful bones in this #teletext adaptation, included in last year's spooky MIST1024 artpack collection.

Mistodon: nostalgia can move a reasonable person to do strange things. Case in point -- for the recent #cat-themed MIST0725 artpack collection, Cthulu tried to think of famous cats from the '90s, when #ANSIart was king, and reproduce them in that element for resonance synergy. This is why he for some reason thought it would be a good idea to draw the rear cover art to the 1991 album by Paula Abdul's "Opposites Attract" dance partner, #MCSkatKat, a real Poochie of a mascot.
