I never understood the people who get into something as difficult as Japanese > English translation just to not put their all into it. Like what did all of those years you put in mean to you if you were just going to half ass your job?
This isn't some part time job at a McDonalds or something and millions of people enjoy the things you translate. I'd want to do a good job with it. I mean at the very least, don't translate media you don't like . It isn't hard.
I'm not so jaded that I think it's spite... It has to be just pure negligence. I dunno it baffles me to this day.
