I've signed up for a pixelfed account as well - I'm I'm really out of practice using a photo sharing app, since I haven't actively used Instagram in years at this point, but I'm trying to get back into the habit.
Oh hey I forgot about its existence, but the Patinoire du ruisseau de la Brasserie is open again this season, nice.
Gods I hate the modern world for its electronic crap we have to deal with. Our dishwasher, which is less than four years old and works great, all of a sudden doesn't respond to us pressing the buttons on the control panel, even though it powers on. The control panel replacement part has been discontinued, even though they (GE) still sell the same model. I even tried to open up the control panel area to just take a look and you need a proprietary tool to open the screws. FUCK that so hard.
Despite the fact that my gears are a bit fucked that was a super fucking nice ride to work, yay! โ„๏ธ๐Ÿšฒ ๐ŸŽ‰ image
One of the chief reasons why I think that public servants are so well paid is so we don't just up and quit during big periods of uncertainty where all proper organizational functioning is ignored while senior management everywhere contemplates a plate of beans. I sure could quit right now but... nah, my pension is really good. But seriously, fuck this place.
It's a Big Report feedback season right now so you KNOW that someone has come up with a creative new way of giving me changes without using the longstanding inbuilt track changes function in Word. Today's is... using strikethrough rather than track changes! Which itself does a type of strikethrough! Fantastically chaotic! What the fuck!!!!
I have too many hobbies and will happily dabble in anything if I get half an urge to but I had been resisting getting into more complicated cheese making for a while... ... until my partner, unprompted, got me a cheesemaking book for Christmas. Sorry, it's on: I'm an amateur cheesemaker now. Or I will be once I get my milk from the organics delivery service I ordered it from.
