As someone who primarily learned through reading and got lots of word pronunciations wrong until I heard them or was corrected, I will never get over the correct pronunciation of assuage (ah-swage and not ah-su-age). I hate it.

The Ontario announcement about making provincial public servants go back full time in January makes me extra glad I already got a doctor's note for working from home.
If you work for the federal public service, I recommend getting that note in the very near future because I would not be surprised if Carney pulled that too, to "stimulate the economy."
