I'm curious, does anyone here use my didkit or blue_factory Ruby gems (DID resolution / feed hosting)? I know Skyfall gets some use and I'm pretty sure Minisky does too, but I'm not sure about these two⦠(I've been working on some minor updates for both) #rubylang #atdev
It's kinda like those commercials, where you see an ad for e.g. toothpaste and they say "doesn't include radium!", and you're like: "well yeah, that makes perfect sense, why would I want raβ¦ wait, are you telling me all other toothpaste brands have been adding radium all this time?!" π

At this point I'm fairly certain that the main problem is that tabs make requests while in some half-suspended state (background tab, closed laptop), and when a tab refreshes a token, it saves it to localStorage asynchronously. And sometimes it just goes back to sleep and that save doesn't happen.

Pro tip: if someone uses quote locking to silence anyone disagreeing with them or correcting them, you can still look up those quotes on Skythread π by adding ?quotes=<post_url> to the URL, or pasting post url to the search field and clicking "quotes" in the footer:
