I haven’t been posting much over the past few weeks. But I’m starting feel….expressive again.
Not a reflection of my conviction that #Nostr is the way.
Grifters complaining that other people grifted…

All my normie friends are starting to see it…..

You don’t need to speak French to feel the elan vitale of this song. She is a tremendous talent.
Yes, policymakers. Countries are moving toward hard, neutral reserve assets and away from dollar-denominated assets.
Regardless of what we do, the race to accumulate #Bitcoin is also already under way. We can start now and lead, or we can hesitate and prepare to play catch-up.

Catching up on my delvingbitcoin.org reading when I should be sleeping…..
Been noodling this…is Trump a fourth turning or first turning figure? I guess it depends on how the next year goes. Welcome everyone’s thoughts.

I feel like Bitcoiners understand the wave of regulatory challenges coming our way. I also see some great efforts to educate lawmakers and regulators about what this ecosystem is all about. But where I feel like we’re failing is the political organization side of things.
We forget how susceptible lawmakers are to pressure - especially in an election year. We forget how much pressure vulnerable lawmakers can put on regulators. We forget the
impact of several thousand calls and emails to lawmakers office.
With all due respect to @jack , this is not about law and order absolutists prevailing. One only need look at the lawlessness overtaking so many communities. This is about political control - power. Bitcoin threatens the power of the regulatory class. But Bitcoiners can threaten the power of the political class.
By the smallest estimate, there are 26 millions Bitcoiners in the US. Much smaller constituencies have moved political mountains. And we can do so as responsible members of our communities.
Most of you might hate it, but we need to get into the political fight. We talk about self custody, sovereignty. It’s time we actively stick up for these principles in the public square.
