Personally I think the "guns not politics" stance is not very productive if you ever want to talk about guns with a member of the public. Although Gun Jesus tries to pretend to be impartial about this, he is also a victim of Youtube censorship. You may be not interested in Gleichschaltung, but Gleichschaltung is interested in you. James Reeves is in the same boat. But they prefer to keep up the appearances.
My interest in guns started from a simple observation that good people tend to be okay with guns, even enthusiastic about them, while bad people tend to be gun-grabbers, except for themselves, in order to use them as tools of oppression.
However, ironically or hypocritically, I ended having a separate channel for the politics (@union), including the politics of gun rights and Universal Human Right For Self-defense, while this account is focused on the technology. But not exclusively!
