If you're an *experienced* freelance investigative journalist who wants to write about consumer privacy and/or current cybersecurity events, and want to pitch me some article ideas: I want to hire you for a project I'm starting. Rates approx. $0.50 – $1.50 per word DOE (or we can discuss flat rate or hourly options). I don't know how to hire journalists so ask me whatever you want to know 😇 #GetFediHired
Can my electric company possibly know this, or are these nonsense numbers? 🤔 image
RE: This does make me wonder if things like “GoodRx Gold” are scams, because the one time I tried to use it a few years ago they just glanced at it and hit a button, and it sure seems like if you know the correct combination of magic words then healthcare providers and pharmacies will just give you whatever you want for cheap/free anyways, but maybe I’m missing something. Or maybe GoodRx Gold is just a subscription service to knowing those magic words 😂 View quoted note →
I get new health insurance and CVS calls me up like hey CVS pharmacy isn’t covered by your insurance anymore. You can just pay the full price $480, or we can send it to maybe Walgreen’s or somewhere else you want, or we can put a “CVS coupon” on it for you “Okay what’s it cost with the CVS coupon?” “$22” 🇺🇸
