 So glad I left this crummy company in the dust years ago. I can’t believe they even made it through the pivot to an overpriced subscription model back in 2021, why do consumers roll over and accept this with hardware?  Make no mistake though, this has nothing to do with foreign tourists, and everything to do with making sure every American is forced to ID themselves and “verify their citizenship” everywhere they go. Charging non-citizens extra probably will not even break even with the additional cost of now having to validate a person’s citizenship, but that doesn’t matter when the goal is just mandatory IDs for everyone. It’s crazy how fast Americans have gone from largely being staunchly anti-ID just a decade ago, to now giving in to the government’s every whim. View quoted note →
