Understand the indignity of air dropping food on Palestinians. First, in the March air drop, the supplies killed 5 Palestinians. More will likely be killed this time. Second, this forces Palestinians to chase after food and scavenge for it like animals. It’s dehumanizing. Third, this could all be avoided if Israel ended its open air prison of Gaza, or if world leaders had the courage to break Israel’s blockade. Instead the genocide of Palestinians continues. Barbaric. Smh.

To the politicians issuing empty statements that "starvation is bad, we should do something" yet refusing to even acknowledge that maybe, just MAYBE, they should stop funding the war criminal doing the starvation—please know that your empty statements are useless and you remain complicit in this genocide. “Never again” demands action, otherwise its an empty and meaningless slogan. DO SOMETHING, or resign and let someone with actual courage and humanity take action.
Even the New York Times is now reporting that Israel lied about Hamas "stealing aid" and in reality Netanyahu has been deliberately blocking aid, killing thousands of Palestinians by starvation—which is a war crime. So, how disgusting that American politicians and media are more upset with Zohran Mamdani for a phrase he never said than they are with Andrew Cuomo for joining Netanyahu's legal team to defend him against charges of documented war crimes in Gaza. White supremacy is a helluva drug.
It’s absurd that Establishment Dems have more energy to condemn CBS for firing Stephen Colbert than to condemn Netanyahu for committing genocide of Palestinians. They have more energy to condemn Mamdani for wanting to raise taxes 2% on millionaires than to condemn Cuomo for 13 credible sexual abuse cases. Establishment Dems need to grow a spine and choose human rights and working people over foreign lobbies and corporate donors—and actually be an opposition party, for once.
