The New York Times Editorial Board denounced Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral bid for not having 'the experience' to be mayor—despite him being a 3X elected assemblyman—then praised & endorsed a rich white guy named Whitney Tilson, who has never once held elected office. Their “meritocracy” is really just rich white male mediocrity. Definitely not racist.🙄

In 2016 MN Police killed a Black man named Philando Castile despite him calmly disclosing he had a legal & registered firearm. Yesterday MN Police released a white woman named Jenny Boelter despite her car full of cash, firearms, & passports hours after her husband mass murdered people & was on the run from police. This injustice is what systemic white supremacy enables.

BTW—I don't want police to kill guilty people either. I'm just always fascinated how police can arrest white mass murderers like Vance Beolter alive & unharmed—but can't help but kill unarmed and innocent Black citizens like Philando Castile and George Floyd. The complexion for protection is a trip.

Wow. Turns out that the Minnesota shooter Vance Boelter was an evangelical Christian who, per his website, "sought out militant Islamists in order to share the gospel and tell them that violence wasn't the answer." Does this now make him a “militant Christianist?” This is what it looks like when white supremacy hijacks Christianity. Deadly hypocrisy. A yet at large suspect shot two Minnesota state lawmakers along with their spouses. The suspect killed Rep Melissa Hortman and her husband. He shot Sen. John Hoffman and his wife—they are hospitalized. It appears the suspect is dressed to impersonate law enforcement. My deepest condolences to the families who lost loved ones. Y’all please be safe out there today. Travel in groups and have a plan to meet up at an agreed upon time and place.

Florida Sheriff Wayne Ivey is threatening to hurt & KILL protesters. Israel unilaterally & preemptively attacked Iran. If history has taught us anything, this is one form escalation that happens when a government faces no consequences for committing genocide. Terry Moran worked at ABC for 28 years. Then, within moments of calling Stephen Miller “hateful,” (which he absolutely is if you listen to his own family), ABC fired him under pressure of an authoritarian hypocrite who ran on “free speech.” The chilling effect this will have on other journalists cannot be ignored.
