I’ve seen internet sleuths find someone’s exact current location in 20 min based on a blurry pic taken with a 2002 camera phone. We got a clear shot at dude’s face, height, build, exact time & location of shooting, & his exit path—& the Internet be like “woah its like dude doesn’t even exist. 😉😉😉.”
Healthcare execs had no problem showing their faces on their websites despite knowing full well that their exploitative practices enabled the preventable deaths of nearly 70,000 Americans ANNUALLY. But the preventable death of 1 executive and suddenly they're all camera shy and wiping their websites of their own profiles. How appropriate that to them 1 death of their own is worth more than 70K deaths of the rest of us.
Our son suffered an asthma attack. We rushed him to his doctor who refused treatment. Why? Because our health insurance wouldn’t cover it.😳 We had UnitedHealth—who leads the industry in rejecting claims.😐 We must end the violence in America’s health system.
Overhead is 2-3% for Medicaid & Medicare & 20% for-profit health insurance, plus near unlimited on drug costs. Both provide the exact same doctors & meds. The only reason for profit has massive markup is to pay for CEO bonuses & private jets. We need universal healthcare now!
The people who stepped over the dead body of the UH CEO, held the investor meeting despite his death, & re-listed his job just 48 hours after he was killed, want you to know that you citing the 68K preventable deaths due to lack of healthcare is being insensitive to his humanity.
Security firms are being inundated with calls from CEOs fearing for their lives since the UnitedHealthcare CEO was killed. A reminder that 68K people die annually due to lack of care & 500K suffer medical bankruptcy—& every one of them fears for their lives & well being every second of every single day.
According to The Lancet, America’s for profit exploitative healthcare system causes 68,000 preventable deaths annually. That means since an assailant killed the @npub15kqs...n2va CEO, America’s health insurance corps have killed ~400 Americans who should be alive today. Thats is 1 person every 7.5 minutes—perpetually. It’s long past time we abolish exploitative healthcare and make healthcare a human right.
I agree it is horrific to shoot a man dead. Problem I have is with the people who only condemn that, and meanwhile employ AI to reject critical medication claims for sick people thereby ensuring they suffer a slow painful death which is then deem justified because it increases shareholder value.
The people screaming about the sacred importance of meritocracy want you to know that if you let a known sexual abuser with no meaningful defense policy qualifications have the keys to the most powerful military in the history of humanity he'll stop his alcohol addiction.
IDC that Biden pardoned his son. I care that he hasn't also pardoned people in federal prison for non-violent drug offenses, that he hasn't commuted the death penalty for 40 federal prisoners, that he hasn't pardoned Leonard Peltier. We must demand accountability in the final 6 weeks Biden has in office.
