The world has become so complexed because of technology that fewer & fewer people know how things actually work. Almost everything runs on software nowadays. But who really knows how to code, fix things, find bugs and upgrade? Most of the people loose control over things they don't even own. We need more technology oriented journalists, don't we?
Internet and technologies have direct impact on daily freedoms. It's relevant if you one chooses to use freedom oriented, more democratic technologies and permissionless digital money or stay with the authoritarian model of the Internet and tech which has the tendency to centralise, accumulate power & be manipulated.
