One thing I really like about #nostr is how you don’t see any price charts. People are interested in talking about hobbies, ideas or what they’re currently working on. Kinda liberating 🙏
There is no need for a central authority to issue programmable money.
Commercial banks would become obsolete, control would be with one institution, and the economy would be on a whim, as they could just print or reduce money.
It's probably unlikely that we'll ever see this bill turn into law, but it's good to at least see some movement against CBDCs. We don't need new forms of money; We need a better money solution!
