Just heard that the Self Hosted podcast is winding down. I really enjoyed that one. Any recommendations for a replacement? There's an excellent weekly newsletter, selfh.st, but I'm looking for something to fill my ears while I walk, do dishes, etc.

So this plant has grown a huge stem within about a week, it went from 3 ft to 12 ft tall. It's obviously going to bloom, but we have no idea what it's going to look like! No spoilers! I'll post again when it blooms out 🌵 image

It's been a few years since I built my website using Jekyll. It's starting to get stale. I learned a lot about IndieWeb while setting up, so I don't regret using it! But the overhead of the build is starting to get to me. Longing for something that I perceive as simpler - paid services like micro.blog or omg.lol - or maybe 11ty. Not sure I can give up control to a paid service for my main site. #IndieWeb #Blog

Excited to see some new apps for the fediverse drop recently. This one is a cool - similar to how there are now Bluesky image centric apps like Flashes, the fedi dev @MagiCat :badge: :daijin: :bl: has introduced Myo. It creates timelines of image and video from your fediverse accounts. Lists, hashtag timelines, etc. are supported.
