Let people cry!
I'm no fan of the Chancellor, but: there are any number of non-work reasons why someone might be in tears at work. Attacking her for it is pretty damn low.
The Tory spokesman getting it wrong: "a 'personal matter' doesn't really clear it up… you normally tell people what the personal matter is."
The SNP getting it right: "I don't know why the chancellor was upset in the chamber today… seeing another person in distress is always very difficult, and we are wishing her well."
