7 September 1911 | Norwegian Jew, Elias Gorvitz, was born in Kristiania (now Oslo). A plumber. In #Auschwitz from 1 December 1942. He was held in the Golleschau sub-camp, from where, as a sick prisoner, he was transferred to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, where he perished.

7 September 1923 | Czech Jew, Jakub Horn, was born in Ostrava. Deported to #Auschwitz from Theresienstadt ghetto on 6 September 1943. He did not survive.

7 September 1900 | A Polish Jewish woman, Elisabeth Simenauer, was born in Urbanowice. In August 1943 she was deported to #Auschwitz from Sosnowiec ghetto. She did not survive.

7 September 1907 | A Frenchman, André Louis Fontalbat, was born in Decazeville. A metal turner. In #Auschwitz from 8 July 1942. No. 45549 He perished in the camp on 4 December 1942.

7 September 1902 | A Polish Jew, Trajtel Szklarz, was born in Siedlce. He emigrated to France. He arrived at #Auschwitz on 23 July 1942 in a transport of 827 Jews deported from Angers. He perished in the camp on 26 August 1942.

7 September 1933 | A Hungarian Jewish girl, Eva Adler, was born in Kisvárda. In 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber. --- Some 430,000 Hungarian Jews were deported to Auschwitz. 7 September 1887 | Dutch Jewish woman, Rika Markus-Goudsmit, was born in Amsterdam. She was deported to #Auschwitz from Westerbork in October 1942. She was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.

6 September 1876 | Czech Jew, Max Beran, was born in Mančice. He was deported to #Auschwitz from Theresienstadt ghetto on 28 October 1944. He was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.
