one advice i would like to give you regarding traveling
whenever you stay in a hotel add it to favorites on google maps - some day you will think back to your trip and try to remember things and having that hotel favorited on maps will bring back memories as you see it in 3D Satellite View
you can also favorite any other places you think you might remember for any reason
most people just take lots of pictures but those end up being out of context ... if instead of pictures you favorite places on the map you can just use satellite imagery instead of your own pictures and everything is in context just like how your ancestral brain works by tracking spatial relationships since we evolved to navigate before roads let alone maps or GPS.
the problem i have is i try to remove excess favorites from the map but every time i try they bring up memories and i end up keeping them.
note: there may be privacy concerns relating to this but i am not a privacy expert - that's something you will need to figure out yourself.
