Fossil fuel companies knew decades ago that their products would cause devastating climate change. But they ignored the evidence and continued drilling, instead choosing to spend an enormous amount of money and effort denying, misleading and delaying climate action. Fossil fuels account for over 75% of global greenhouse gas emissions.
