At least the top brass has been making an attempt to engage with their critics. But what’s really gnawing at me is the fact that their social media team is *going nuts* on the former birdsite yet has all but abandoned Bluesky & Mastodon. For real, I counted how many posts the company has made in the last 96 hours on all three sites… 👀

In a town hall meeting last week, a Microsoft employee spoke up and said the company had recently “felt markedly different, colder, more rigid, and lacking in the empathy we have come to value.” Ya think?! 😂 Look, I once admired CEO Satya Nadella, but when I witness the steps Microsoft is taking to shoehorn “Copilot” into every nook and cranny of everything it produces…I see the actions of a company utterly bereft of quality leadership when it comes to design & UX.
