Bandcamp read the room. It is the hero we need in our hour of darkness. Amidst an onslaught of horrendous slop pretending to be music (Spotify is rife with this garbage), #Bandcamp has come out with a new policy statement which is succinct, unequivocal, and rings like a clarion bell. The TL;DR: **Slop is Banned.** “Not permitted.” “Strictly prohibited.” Truly, music to my ears!

According to @flathub stats for 2025, the marketshare of ARM-based #Linux didn't even crack 2%. Do you think those low numbers might be due in part to so many people installing and running Linux on older hardware? Or is it because new Linux-compatible ARM hardware is hard to come by? Would love some insight on this! (Also surprised more people aren't trying out Asahi Linux on Apple Silicon machines…it rocks!)
