We often hear that our social media friends aren't real friends.
BS.
This was one of the last messages from one of those friends before they passed.
There are souls Iβve met here that have shared themselves openly and honestly, who have been genuine in their interaction, as much as anyone Iβve met in βreal life.β
Many have become friends as well, and even those I may never meet are meaningful.
X is spreading more and more dangerous lies, and people will die.
We're letting crooks and fellons run their crooked schemes, and people will die.
We're putting them in charge of all that is meant to protect us, from Them, and people will die.
The people still in charge could do something to stop this, but they do not.
People will die.
Yes, we have universal healthcare, sort of. Many things are not covered. Medications, certain procedures and treatments.
I acknowledge that I'm here because of what is covered and I'm thankful, but sometimes it's frustrating. π
Example. I need surgery.
One that's been done a certain way for years. Invasive, high risk of infection and complications, requires hospital recovery. Covered.
Or my other option, same Dr.
A new, proven, faster, safer, (cheaper) outpatient method. Not covered.
