Mitsu, commenting on the calorie count of a meal at Raising Canes: "That's too much, that's like a whole day's worth of calories!" Me: "Ah, but American calories are different, it's like celsius and farenheit or Canadian and American dollars"
Me, commenting on the M&M store in Times Square: "I don't get it, not everything needs a store! It's just candy coated chocolate!" Mitsu: "Then you'll buy me something in that store and I WON'T SHARE IT WITH YOU" Me: "There's something weird with that logic"
Things that are litterally me: river otters, Ryan Gosling
DJ Cam Quartet's Rebirth of Cool is my ambiance secret weapon. At my previous job I sometimes had to do technical setups for receptions and such and if the person asking for the setup didn't ask for anything specific I would always default to that (and the other two DJ Cam Quartet albums from that time, Diggin' or Stay). I often had great feedback on it, it's really a masterclass in its genre; content to have or not your full attention, it's not too rich that it's distracting, but it doesn't feel empty like background music often does either (easy-listening, smooth jazz, chill-out, lo-fi hiphop).
