Dangit, the cat is also low res pixelated now. RE:
Also I promise I’ll get back to being more conversational with the people I used to talk to more soon. Trying to keep up with everything and be weather aware / prepped is just time consuming. And less weather related posting from me fingers crossed.
If your state has been impacted by weather disasters (wildfires, floods etc), IRS tax filing extensions exist: [www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs...]( ) (Though if you're due a refund you might still want to go ahead and file sooner.) By date & state: [www.irs.gov/newsroom/tax...]( ) [IRS reminder: Disaster victims...]( )
Oh … just saw a notice about black ice because of the temp drop expected to be 20Β°F tonight…. It it also says turn around don’t drown because of the flooding … Let’s do ALL of the weather why don’t we? πŸ˜‚
I’m starting to see posts about water treatment plants getting their power back on and water conservation being lifted for various areas. Frankfort, Versailles, Louisville… Those were the ones I remember being off in some of the areas where I know people.
I accidentally read this headline as β€œhow much of Louisville fell off last week.” And honestly even though it’s about how much rain fell, my mis-read also kinda made sense. RE:
I think I just accidentally spent about a half hour compiling weather emergency resources I've been sending to myself over the last week. Stuff I was following but never organized. A lot of the granular Kentucky specific stuff has not made it to Bluesky yet for big emergencies.
Since I’m not going to go drive around to take pics, I did a walk in the yard. Crabapple tree is in bloom right now. https://shiitake.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:tbr4cunn6r4hox73ybzjfwt3&cid=bafkreiawyuk25xh5zxvybaq7wewx33ecnwuth5zrwwycb7rnbavhhplqam
Oh and on top of it all, the temps are supposed to drop into the 20’s Monday night so … we’re about to become a block of ice here? 🧊
The KYTC districts are not here yet so I am sharing a Facebook resource Kentuckians might need this week with the historic flooding. #kywx [www.facebook.com/share/p/15xg...]( ) [transportation.ky.gov/Pages/Home.a...]( ) https://shiitake.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:tbr4cunn6r4hox73ybzjfwt3&cid=bafkreiekd4quyqbsjy3ceim5z33kbhg2cz4x3yqny72yytbkiflryolzcm
