Wondering if I could run an instapot off a generator. Prep for incoming weather & debating making some things that can just be reheated in the instapot since I can fallback to the grill if needed. Only other issue is if multi-day I have to do a fire in the fireplace & asses the water (pipes.)

If you own an ancient car and you don't drive it daily, get yourself a battery charger & give it a charge when it gets cold. Or else you'll be halfway to your destination & the constantly filling airbag pump plus the radio will be too much & it will warning ding (until you turn off the radio.)

Apparently yesterday’s forecast for today was completely wrong since it now looks like it’s going to rain all day. Looking at the radar I don’t think a break is likely for a hike today either. At least I charged the battery on an ancient vehicle yesterday (it wasn’t happy having sat.)

I have some weird reasons for being drawn to self-hosting. One of my better examples was almost getting banned from using our work messaging system one year because we 4 of us were talking about LEGAL betting AT the Kentucky Derby. We switched back to SMS for the rest of that day.
