I am happy to announce that after a year of hard work, Showtime finally shows the time. With this essential feature, it can finally be included in GNOME 49. #GNOME

Increasing minimum hardware requirements, especially when it comes to memory and storage are a chicken and an egg problem. The less optimized apps get, the higher specs you need to run them, not because they actually need them, but because the half an hour developers would invest into optimizing their assets becomes less and less valuable… It’s sad and I wish we could somehow incentivize lower minimum requirements beyond what is done now. Half-a-gig download size apps are ridiculous.

Considering moving all of my personal projects to @Codeberg.org Anything I should keep in mind?

I will be taking an indefinite break from working on some of my projects for mental health reasons. If anyone wants to work on them (particularly Cartridges and Showtime) for the time being, I would appreciate that. PS: I will continue to fix important bugs and keep them up to date, but don't expect any major features aside from a bigger 48 Showtime release.
