So I've tried out #Spotify as a #Wayland-native app now, and it's working fine, but does anyone know which part of the stack is responsible for this, errr, slightly retro looking title bar? πŸ˜„ image
Currently on a metainfo crusade throughout the GNOME ecosystem to fix some quirks and make apps look their best on apps.gnome.org, and I just found out that putting stuff *below* the <releases> section of app metainfo files is apparently a totally normal thing to do!? We could really use some more people going through this stuff 🀨
#Keypunch has passed 10k installs on #Flathub! Really happy it has been so well received πŸ˜„ https://flathub.org/apps/dev.bragefuglseth.Keypunch
Currently adding these sections to about windows of some popular apps whose developers I know have multiple well-known projects. My hope is that these people get inspired to replicate the change to the listed apps as well πŸ™‚ #GNOME

One of the most important lessons in volunteer-driven development is that motivation isn’t commutable. If a contributor hadn’t worked on thing Y, that doesn’t automatically mean that they would have dedicated their time to thing Z instead. It’s not a given that people are equally motivated for everything.
Really glad we've started to push a decent set of featured apps for Software by default in GNOME 47. It feels so much more alive now. #GNOME #GNOME47 image
Some GNOME 47 niceties I appreciate in particular: - The top bar clock finally follows proper Norwegian formatting conventions when on a Norwegian system - New batch of wallpapers by @Jakub Steiner ⭐ #GNOME image
I'm happy to announce that both my apps, #Keypunch and #Fretboard, have GNOME 47-ready versions packaged and shipped to #Flathub πŸ₯³ #GNOME image
