Stacks now supports Moonshot AI's Kimi K2! K2 is an open model that can be self-hosted. Our initial tests reveal similar performance on MKStack between K2 and Claude 3.7, at a fraction of the price. This may be a viable alternative for people looking to decrease credit usage when building with MKStack.
To use it:
1. Run 'stacks upgrade'
2. In agent.json, change "model" to "kimi-k2"
OR pass it in when you start the agent with `stacks agent -m kimi-k2'
