Day 2 with macOS 26 sucks just about as badly as Day 1. 1. "Features” I don’t want and can’t turn off.2. Apps I’ve used for years no long functioning.3. New ControlCenter is cool but could I get a fucking tool tip so I don’t have to memorize another set of monochrome icons?
I’ve used every version of the Mac operating system for the last 30 years almost always upgrading on Day One, and today has been the worst experience out of all of them. My password stopped working. My mouse stopped working. The list goes on. It sucks and the CEO is a Trump supporter.
Today's #AppalachianTrail memory is a good one from the Roan Highlands. We started the day hiking across Big Hump Mountain in the wind and fog, ate our backpacker's lunch at the Overmountain Shelter and by the end of the day, crossed into NC and spent the night on top of Roan High Knob. #hiking
