I would be in favor of evidence based governing. For example, let's compare suicide stats on gay teens who are bullied and denied equal treatment against Christian teens who are bullied and denied "freedom" before we start passing laws to hlep folks.

So many guys who refuse to believe it when women report sexual harassment would go into full blown whip-ass mode if their wives were stared at too long in public. Even then, it's not about their wives being uncomfortable, it's about them feeling challenged.
