Folks are creating technology that appears to be innovative but not practical. Nor intuitive. Me: What’s the practicality? Your product is confusing. Who is really going to use it…today?

I’m not interested in creating things that aren’t viable. We’re not shelving completed projects. No sir. No ma’am.

Today, I’m working on a lesson plan for another project on my list. I’ve included the words…”viable, reliable, and scalable.”

I have numerous contributions to textbooks, research, and papers in which my name is not in the acknowledgments. When the release form arrives that asks… “Would you like for your name to appear in the acknowledgements?” Me: No

On the website I created yesterday, Nowhere does it show that I created it. The domain name is registered to the client. It’s not in my name.

That’s how I like to work at times. And other times, I will shout my work from the mountaintop to everyone around the world.

I do a lot of work in silence.
