The #bitcoin mempool is where all transactions are broadcast and stored until confirmed in a block. It acts as a waiting room where transactions are validated by nodes before conformation in a block. If the mempool is empty, it means there are not many transactions happening on the baselayer.

#bitcoin is the culmination of many inventions over time. Contrary to popular belief, it did not appear on the scene out of no where, but it was just in time. 🧡

There are 100,000,000 sats per 1 #bitcoin. Like there is 100 pennies per 1 dollar. That means there is 2,100,000,000,000,000 sats out there!!
