Menstrual cycle is a natural and gradual monthly process in a girl’s reproductive system that prepares the body for pregnancy. When a girl begins menstruation, she needs proper guidance at home, in school, and within the community. She must learn about her body, her health, and healthy relationships. Talking about menstruation is no longer a taboo, but a basic human right. When we break the silence around menstrual health, we give girls the knowledge and confidence they need. This is one of the most powerful ways to reduce early pregnancies, especially in rural communities across Malawi. Girl Think Initiative is committed to this mission. We are working to support girls, particularly in the T/A Kabudula area, to stay in school, avoid early pregnancies, and grow into responsible, empowered leaders.
