Oooh! #golang byte buffers are getting a Peek method in 1.26! Very handy. I think this might've been mentioned in an episode of @Cup O' Go , but I musn't've absorbed it fully.
Nice. During a domain transition at work I lost access to our internal wiki halfway through publishing some release notes. An eagle-eyed colleague found an error of mine in the draft release notes on the wiki, but I can't fix it. Good and fun! Computers rule.
Thing #83 I appreciate after switching from windows to linux on my desktop: When I tell my computer to shut down, it shuts down. I don't get a warning prompt informing me I have a file explorer window open. I cannot imagine a rational justification for that feature.
Ran out of egg halfway through making panko-crusted chicken breast for dinner last night. Switched to hommus loosened with a bit of olive oil. Worked perfectly, tasted great. #cooking
Alright, I'll bite. Just ordered a pebble time 2. Let's see what all the fuss is about. In a few months.
Some good Australian sketch #comedy for your Saturday arvo.
Fighting the chest-constricting dread of holidays ending. I don't wanna go back to work :( At least I have something fun to work on when I get back. Unless our priorities have changed at random again.
