Unless @npub1vvuh...pj6u decides to delay #Cosmic, it should release today, so here are my thoughts on that first version! The TLDR is: it's absolutely fantastic, but it's still a first version that will need some more settings, animations, and polish to really shine:

Here is this week's #LInux and #OpenSource News video! In this one, Python refuses big money to avoid compromising on their principles, the AUR is under attack yet again, and Unity (the desktop) is in trouble.

#Windows 10 is now End of Life, which in itself is normal, but also, this is a very specific event, because, first Windows 10 is still huge, and second, the options are very, very limited, and all bad. let's talk about it:

New video! In this one, I try and give a few tips if your battery life on #Linux is giving you problems. Not the usual “lower your brightness and shut down all network connections”, because that works, but it’s not really a solution :) So, I tackle TLP (the easy way), GPU acceleration in the browser (seriously that’s a big potential drain), moving online video to H264 (not all GPUs can decode VP8 or 9) and more!
