Sincere question: why do all the Rick Rubin “quotes” sound like they’re from Reddit’s r/im14andthisisdeep?

I straightened my hair this morning after several years in an entirely misguided attempt at impressing somebody, only to end up looking like a deceased Pomeranian. Lesson learned. Won’t debase myself that way again.
