This whole attitude of “Bitcoin was meant to be peer to peer cash” “The project failed” “It wasn’t what Satoshi intended” is vexing. Bitcoin is not ready to be used as cash and it’s possible Satoshi overlooked that. The time may come, but it won’t until we have a full on Renaissance of great entrepreneurship and society. If you’re upset that people aren’t going to spend bitcoin for some lousy cup of coffee then you need to take a step back. Who gives a shit if people spend bitcoin for McDonald’s and our world is still trash? Bitcoin will be traded for products when the products become worth it, and the day that happens, it won’t just be goods and services that are superior, it will be people too. People will WANT to pour their blood, sweat and tears into MAKING SOMETHING GREAT. It won’t just come from their hands, it will come forth from their souls. Bitcoin will become what it needs to become WHEN it needs to.
