Nashville, Tenn. — A violent convicted s—x offender is behind bars on a $10.1 million bond. Joequarius Williams, 29, was arrested on charges of attempted murder and robbery for allegedly attacking a 25-year-old woman after following her home from a Sabrina Carpenter concert at Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 5. Williams allegedly choked her until she lost consciousness and stole her phone and keys. Williams was convicted of aggravated assault in 2019 for a similar attack. He picked up a woman at a bus stop and offered her a ride home. He made s—xual advances, and after they arrived at her home, he followed her and choked her until she was unconscious. He was only given six years of probation for that attack. Williams was also convicted of a robbery in 2016.
