#devstr Have yall heared of Raku? I did, somewhere, at some point. Well someone is using htmx with it. o.o https://www.reddit.com/r/htmx/comments/1je3fpe/introducing_the_harc_stack/ This is... interesting. It broke my brain for a second, but honestly it... is kinda nice? Perhaps the next language to learn after I feel super confy with Go? Huh... o.o

I do like the remake OSTs. But this piece here is a peak demonstration of just how good PS1 OSTs sounded - when developers had to deal with limitations and come up with innovative ways to do things. To be fair, music was always streamed from disc, but back then the composers had their own troubbles too. That said, I genuenly never actually finished FF7. Still have my save, and CDs and memoryCard. xD
This will always make me smile. ...and this genuenly helped me understand TypeScript a little better. XD
In cleaning up my browser, I found this o.o...
idk why or what, but City Pop is so nice and chill. Its like a step above LoFi. It's still "active" enough that you stay awake and productive, but not too fast to kick your brain into "boost mode". Did you know that constant high BPM music basically overclocks your brain? And medium BPM steadies your "clock speed"? I use those tricks all the time - it is why I could never give up my Spotify sub. I may be a hardcore selfhoster and whatnot - but Spotify is a keeper... #tunestr playlist
lmao there's a lot of truth in that one, 'specially third verse. XD
C feels like such a left-behind language. <- case in point. php/php-src is in there. xD And C++? ...i honestly don't know what to make of this. I love reading /trending to see "whats up". I check Rust, Go, C and C++ from time to time to see what has been gaining some form of traction. I like that PCSX2 is in C++ honestly, that team is putting in some of the most serious legwork. The original PCSX2 source code, plagued with bad design decisions and an overdose of plugin architecture was and likely still is such a mess...and these guys have been pulling this emulator out of the gutter and polishing it. Mad, maaaad respect to these folks. 'tis such a good piece now. The libretro core, on the other hand, is effectively abandoned. XD
